Our own Coach Dwayne "Coach D" Murray was recently honored to be selected as an Assistant Coach of the most prestigious high school game played in America, the 34th Annual McDonalds All-American High School Game in Chicago, IL on March 30, 2011. Along with MVHS Varsity Boys Head Coach Bob Cimmino, (Head Coach - East Team) and MVHS Varsity Boys Assistant Head Coach and former St. Ursula alumni Brian Pritchett, they led the East Team to a stunning 111-96 win over the West Team before a record setting crowd of over 20,000 fans at Chicago’s United Center. All American's Michael Gilchrist, St. Patrick's, NJ/KENTUCKY, and James McAdoo, Norfolk Christian, VA/UNC, were the games co-MVP's.
