Program Directors and Coaches,
The 2012 Westchester Basketball Championships at Archbishop Stepinac High School will take place on President’s Day Weekend (Feb. 17– 20). The tournament will accommodate 8th Grade Boys AAU, Town Travel, School, and Community teams. The WBC is designed for competitive matchups and prepares teams for playoff basketball. The format guarantees three games and the cost is $375 per team.
In order to achieve the most balanced and competitive tournament, teams must apply for induction by completing the WBC application. The application deadline is 1/15/12. The WBC selection committee will survey all applicants and choose participants in accordance with the tournament’s philosophy of preparing teams for playoff basketball.
This year’s event marks our 14th anniversary. Teams from around the tri-state area have come to compete in what is Westchester’s most organized and well run tournament. Play-by-play announcements, on-line statistics, all-tournament teams, MVP and Championship trophies, create the atmosphere of a truly elite event.
